If you’re not currently looking for work: cordLive offers an engaging technical event built around talks where you can learn from the leading voices in the tech community. You’re also able to register your long-term interest with a featured company, so you can keep connected even if you’re not ready to apply.
Not at all! cordLive is primarily a tech event. You will learn how these leading companies are implementing technology in real-world projects. You can take away new techniques to implement with your current team and keep up to date with new technologies in the industry.
Yes - each talk will reserve a section for Q&A and we highly encourage everyone to ask questions throughout the event, using the Q&A functionality in Zoom. If you don’t get a chance to get your question answered, we will also be sharing the speaker’s details after the event, so you can follow up directly.
At the end of each talk you will get a link where you can message the company or speaker instantly through cord. After the event, we will provide a full list of all the companies and their open positions, so you can easily connect with those you're interested in.
For a limited time after the event, all featured companies will also have a space on cord where you can register your interest for the future, in case you’re not quite ready to apply, or can’t see your perfect live position.
We would highly recommend trying to join if you can though so you can participate in the live Q&A and get first access to the live positions. However, if you cannot make it on the day, we will be recording all the talks so you can access them later.
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email and calendar invites for the event with a link to join the Zoom webinar. We’ve sent you separate invites for each section of cordLive, so you can choose to join the whole event or just specific talks.
The joining link will remain the same for all the talks so there is no need to rejoin for each event once you’re in.
